I have patellar tendinitis in my left knee my full patellar region is quite badly swollen... I have been experiencing severe tenderness to the middle of the patellar also to the back of my leg central to the patellar...
I also have quite a bad pain in my hip once I sit in a certain position could this be a missed fracture of the patellar tendon?

do you have any history of trauma or do you visit gym for weight lifting excercises.do you feel any gap in the patella tendon?
my advice would be get xray done and send the picture.
