Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
I leave studied your case, I think he is having access in the feet and you should not take it lightly. Even sligh injury in diabetic patient can cause gangrene and severe complications. Soni would recommend you to go to surgical unit in hospital . If doctor feels that there is abcess in the feet than it might need drainage of pus. I would also recommend you to make sure that he is taking his Diabetic treatment regularly.
also he might need to take antibiotics for a week. he should not moist his feet or wear tight foot wears.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other follow up questions.
thanks
