hi my 3 yr old son had pineapple juice today and hes had pineapplr before but never very much at once ... his ear has been swollen since 11:30 am. i have contacted telehealth and they asked me a series of questions regarding possible reasons it may have ocurred .. they said to just bring him into the doctors within the next 24 hrs and did not recommend bringing him in to the hospital . his ear is quite swollen right at the top where it is rounded . Do you know if this is common allergic reaction? They said normally it is not the ear that swells .
