Hi, I am dr Richa Sharma. As per your history, your child might have acquired molluscum contagiosum ( A pearly white viral lesion). This condition is viral in origin , and resolves on its own without causing any symptoms. Sometimes it gets infected in which cases it needs to be treated. If cosmetic disfiguring, these lesions can be excised either using chemical cautery or surgically. But most of the time, they are self healing. One more thing , they are contagious and often spread from one body part and to other people.Thanks.
