Hello,

Post-cancer rectum surgery the symptoms of sacrum pain, lower limb swelling is common. Continue the medicine advised post surgery and use stocking for lower limbs to avoid swelling. As there is a lack of venous return the stocking will provide good support to the muscular system to help improve drain it.

Also, for sacrum pain, it is due to muscle weakness. I will advise doing an exercise like knee flexion-extension, ankle toe movements, bridging exercise etc to improve the muscle physiology.

As post surgery cases are advised for physiotherapy for their muscle property to be maintained I will advise doing simple exercises by which you get relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
