What Causes Swelling In The Hands While On Ibuprofen?

My hands be swollen and hurt or tight when I wake up in the morning seen a hand surgeon for my trigger finger but nothing was said about the swelling in my hands just to take some ibuprofen for the inflammation, hands are still swelling what can I do for this or what kind of doctor do I need to see.

whatever is is exact swelling is it at small joints on the hand or genrlasied swelling??

Dear ibuprofen or NSAIDS can cause retention of water may cause swelling.

Other possibilities like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis or gout etc..


Please consult your rheumatologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
