Hello,

You had sex with your BF which was a little rough and presently you are suffering from swollen, red labia minora and burning discomfort. Commonly after sex, if there is not enough lubrication friction during penetration can irritate the area and cause redness, soreness and inflammation. Apply cold compress to reduce swelling and irritation. To avoid swelling due to sex you are suggested to use vaginal lubricants, it will help to avoid friction. Stay away from anything (like condoms, perfumed soaps, scented detergents, lubes, douches, etc.) that may cause allergy and trigger symptoms.

Burning sensation is commonly caused by yeast infection, you can take a course of antifungal(fluconazole), for relieve you can apply clotrimazole cream/ointment on the affected area. Get clinically examined by an OBGYN to detect Bartholin's cyst, UTI, E.coli infection or STI. Get urinalysis (R / E and C / S) done. Get STD tests (both partners) done. If positive you will be treated accordingly with antibiotics/antivirals.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
