Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mom is 85, has swelling in her lower legs-more severe in the right. On Saturday we went to our Family Doc and he increased her Lasix to 20mg twice a day instead of once a day. Also was given a cardiology consult. The increase in Lasix doesn t seem to have made any difference. This evening she has little water type blisters on the top of her feet and toes . Should I be concerned?
Consult a physician and get evaluated.
Detailed evaluation is required to find out what exactly causing the symptoms.
You have to get a venous Doppler and renal function test for further assessment.
Hope I have answered your query.
