General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the swelling in the upper lip.

It could be due to allergic reaction (angioedema) caused by Keflex (Cephalexine).
It can also cause hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of face, tongue, or throat.

Allergic reaction to Keflex can occur long after a person has taken it and has shown no other symptoms, it may also become more severe with subsequent intake in the future.

I advice your to consult your treating doctor for the alternate use of a safer antibiotic. Meanwhile you may take antihistamine tablet levocetrizine.

Hope to have answered your query.
