What Causes Swelling Of The Scrotum?

Hi my 9 year old son got a tick bite yesterday on his testicles, I was able to remove it completely last night. This afternoon he cam e home and his scrotum was swollen to almost tennis ball size I have given him claritine 1 hr ago and an ice pack still no change. what should i do and how serious is it?

Hi,
It seems that there might be having local allergic reaction due to something bite.
continue giving Claritine for 2-3 days.
continue ice pack as well.
Within a day or two it will be subsided.
Ok and take care.
