What Causes Swelling On Bottom Lips After Taking Cipralex?

Hello, I have been taking cipralex for anxiety for about 6 weeks now, and lately I have noticed that my bottom lip is swollen - to the point that it is interfering a little with my speech and I also tend to bite into it when I am eating. My bottom lip droops down and has no bounce back when I pull it down. i am aware that I have to pull it back in to look normal . Could this be caused by the cipralex? Should I stop taking the medication...I am out of town and will not see my doctor for another 4 days.

Hello,

It may be due to allergic reactions.

Kindly stop the medication.

For itching you can take tablet loratidine.

In case of breathing difficulties, severe itching you may require urgent medical care

Hope I have answered your query..
Let me know if I can assist you further.
