What Causes Swelling On The Leg After Getting Hit By A Toy Car?

I am a 34 year old African American woman and my son hit me with a toy car which left a bruise on lower right leg but its been a week and its still hurting. I am 5 4 and 285 pounds. My right lower leg is slightly swollen but its only due to the bruise. It does not hurt when I flex my leg or move it,..but the bruise is sore to touch

Hello,

It seems to be just a soft tissue injury, local musculo-skeletal inflammation. I recommend taking ibuprofen for 10 days, twice a day to help improve your situation. Magnesium supplements can help too.
