What would cause my lower left leg to be swollen and discolored and very painful. Pain medication, Lasix, and naproxen r not helping either. Ive had this condition the past two and half months. Seen my doctor 3 times and been to the hospital for a sonar scan to rule out DVT.Im at a lose as to what kind of doctor I should see. Any answers?

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears to be secondary to the hypertension, or diabetes. The other possibility is the filarial swelling due to the infection.
For D.V.T you can consult an orthopedic surgeon or a vascular surgeon for diagnosis. You may need to have a color Doppler for confirmation of the D.V.T.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to have blood, good health and resistance against the infections.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
