What Causes Swollen And Warm Calf?

I heard a pop in my calf on New Year s Eve and haven t been able to walk normal on it since. It is now swollen and warm to touch on calf. I made an appointment to see my orthopedic on Monday, but would like to know if I should see a doctor at an urgent care before.

after going through your query the chances are that you got haematoma after the injury and that might got infected now ,leading to warmness and increase in pain.
