What Causes Swollen Area Below The Knee?

Hi my name is Brad I am 36 years old. 5 11 ... 215 lbs. I have a swollen area just below my knee on the inside of my right leg. It s about an inch and a half in diameter. It s white and hurts occasionally. I have had it about 2 weeks. What could this be?

Hello,

Looks like there is a knee injury in the soft tissue at the internal structures. Need an MRI to help assess more. As your weight is too high for having good pressure over the knee joint and can lead to a ligament injury and symptoms like pain and swelling.

Using knee cap, diet modification, regular aerobic exercise without troubling the knee joint should help yield good results.
