What Causes Swollen Cheeks?

My daughter is almost 3 and weighs about 38 pounds. She was outside playing in the snow, for no more than half an hour. She was eating snow and playing. I brought her in the house to warm up and her cheeks are really red and white in the middle, and they look swollen. Its warm to the touch. She said it doesnt hurt, and it doesnt seem to bother her. Is she OK? Is there anything I should do for her?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
When the child is exposed to cold as well as heat ,the cheeks will become red due to capillary dilatation.
There is nothing to worry.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
