What Causes Swollen/enlarged Wrist?
i had a vq scan 4 weeks ago and since then i ve had pain in the hand...particularly my wrist i can feel the vein and it feels hard and enlarged i went to the Dr 2 weeks ago and he suggested voltaren gel to be rubbed on it and asprin. I have been doing that. 2 x 3oomg asprin 4 times a day and rubbing voltaren gel 4 times a day. it has seemed to reduce and was looking better. the dr said i could go back to the gym and do hand weights (i m a female so they arent huge). But yesterday when i went back, the veins in my wrist flared up again and appear to be swollen/enlarged and a bit painful.

I really appreciate your concern and looking to the history given here I could say that for the pain and swelling of wrist the best option in medicine are "Tab Acetaminophen 500 mg three times in day and Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day if the symptoms does not improved then this need to be investigated, take care and have a nice day.
