What Causes Swollen Leg With Itchiness After Steroid Injection?

I m a 58 year old male and have high blood presure and colestrol issue s, a few weeks ago I was given a steriod injection in my thumb to help with pain in the joint. I have developed swollen legs below the knee and they are red and itchie and feel very tight.

Hello,

I think the swollen legs may not be related with steroid injection in thumb. I think the edema can be related to varicose veins or kidney issues. You should get further evaluated in order to determine the cause of swelling.
