What Causes Swollen Legs Prior To Chemotherapy?

I am an elderly African American woman who s chemotherapy for lung cancer has been suspended due to ill health. Recently, I have been experiencing swelling and discoloration in my legs. First the right lower leg and now the left. My doctors cannot seem to find any answers. What do you think may be going on?

Consult a physician and get evaluated.
It could be due to cellulitis or venous occlusion which can happen in cancer patients.
