What Causes Swollen Lip And Stuffy Nose In A Child?
My son woke up with a very swollen lip and a stuffy nose on Wednesday, his doctor gave him benedril but it doesn't seem to be helping. His nose has been stuffy ever since (all day) and his swelling goes down but slightly returns every morning. What can this be?

Your child has food induced allergy.It is causing swollen lio and stuffy nose.
Treatment is to give oral antiallergic like fexofenadine for 10-14 days.Identify and then avoid allergen.Common food allergens are egg,fish,milk,wheat,nuts,added food colors.Maintain food diary which will help in identification of allergen
