What Causes Swollen Lymph Nodes In The Neck?

I have a bunch of swollen lymph nodes in my neck. Im a 19 year old male and this is causing me tons of anxiety. I also get muscle twitches around my body occasionally. Im very scared I have cancer or something. The nodes in my neck are movable and some are the size of a grape. Please help im very scared.

HI,

The are many causes of lymphadenopathy. The most common cause is upper respiratory tract infection, infection in the scalp, nose, mouth or neck etc.

Tuberculosis or lymphoma or connective tissue disorders may also cause symptoms.

Don't worry. I thought it may be due to Infection. In malignancy, they are hard and not movable or matted nodes.

Use antibiotics according to the Infection. Please consult your physician/surgeon, they will examine and if necessary take lymph node biopsy and treat you accordingly.
