What Causes Swollen Throat With Mucus And Neck Stiffness?

I have been having the following symptoms: throat swelling, a lot of mucus, hives on face and neck, hot & cold chills, stiff neck been to emergency room 5 times in a few weeks they just give me benedryl but it keeps coming back, any clue as to what might be happening?

Did you had allergic attack/?angioedema..A short course of steroids may help you in that scenario..
