What Causes Swollen Toes?

Hello To Anyone ! Actually, the outer sides of the toe of my left foot is swollen excessivly and the swollen area is excessively red, hard and very painful on touching, with that my foot arch is also swollen a bit and is red, painful, can t walk properly ! What to do?

Hello,

You may be suffering from gout or hammer toe or inflammatory arthritis. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.

Use cold and warm compression, use NSAIDS for pain. Avoid spicy food and alcohol avoid smoking and caffeine drink.

Get it done uric acid levels. Then consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
