What Causes Temporary Loss Of Memory In An Elderly Person?

I had a strange episode recently. I was at a meeting and spoke to the group. After that I could not recall any thing I had said..I have no memory problems, even though I am 88 years old. I read on another site that this was caused be a previous stroke, a TIA, which I had a year before this. They even had a name for this but I lost the site and can't remember the name. I have had no other problems aside from this.
