What Causes Tenderness In Abdomen During Pregnancy?

Hi, I am currently 35 weeks, 2 days pregnant. The last few days have been pretty rough, with lots of nauseau and my uterus / abdomen feels quite tender to the touch. Now I also just got over a rather rough chest cold so I'm not certain if the tenderness is related to the coughing I was doing. Just trying to decide if I should wait the 5 days until my regular appointment or maybe get checked out?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Nausea and tenderness of the abdomen in the 35 th week of pregnancy can be due to increased blood pressure (pre eclampsia), liver disease, or abruption of placenta (concealed).
All the three conditions should be diagnosed at the earliest and should be treated accordingly.
You should consult your doctor as soon as possible.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
