What Causes Tenderness In Head After A Fall In A Child?

My son was running around acting silly and tripped over his feet and hit the back of his head closer to his neck real hard . He cryed for about 10 min . He seems fine . I checked where he hit his head and it s red and he s tender . Should I be concerned ?

Hi

redness and tenderness is due to soft tissue swelling , and blood accumulation due to injury.
If baby is well, no vomiting, accepting feed well, no dullness , not irritable , you need not worry.
