What Causes Tenderness In Head, Slight Swelling And Redness Near The Eye?
my daughter ran into a tree with the sled yesterday and last night and today she is complaining of a headache in the area she rates at a 5 or 6 in pain, it is tender, slight swelling, and red on the left side of her face from the forehead over the eye area. I have given tylenol but she does cry because of the pain??

From history it looks like due to some injury.So what you Gave is right.look for following red flag signs
.vomiting
.ENT need
.excessive sleepiness
.altered sensorium
.pain in eye,double vision,redness in eye
In case of any of these you need to contact your doctor immediately
