What Causes Tenderness Inside Arms Near The Elbow?
i thought i had tricep tendonitis but now i m not sure. i don t have any pain when exercising or straightening/bending my arm, but the inside of my arm near the elbow is tender to touch, i would say it s in the area of the tricep, but closer to the middle of the inside of my arm
What I feel is that the symptoms of tenderness can be due to two possible reason, and either of one fails to claim then it should be muscular.
The first one will be a nerve entrapment in the course of its nerve which may lead to such symptoms as any small pressure on the nerve can lead to disruption of the symptoms.
The second one with being golfers elbow, for this the wrist extension and flexion should be performed with resistance if the pain is present over the medical aspect of the elbow.
Based on the possible physical examination we can come to a conclusion what could be the possible cause and treatment will be guided accordingly. In my opinion, neither of the ones is a serious injury and can be handled by a medical specialist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
