What Causes Tenderness Under The Knee Cap After Recovery From Bruised Knee?
A few weeks ago I fell and bruised my knee to the point that I couldn t walk for two days. After the bruising went away, a prominence developed under the knee cap. It s not really sore, just mildly tender, and is pretty hard. I want to know what it is and if it will go away.
As below the patella will the soft tissue which would have got inflammation so does the pain. In case if you are talking below the knee that this the tibia region, that is where the patella tendon gets inserted. This tendon is a hard tissue.
It may have got micro trauma due to which the pain is still persisting. Doing hot water fermentation and gentle kneeding massage will help the tissue elasticity retained. This will go away in some days of time. There is nothing much to worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
