What Causes Testicle Pain Which Reduces After Intercourse?

I have pain in my left testical. Like I was kicked. I have had it in the past and it would go away after my wife and I would have sex. the pain would come when It had been a week or longer with out sex. I am 57 years old and this problem has started within the last few months. It dosn't alway happen but when it dose the pain seems to be getting worse.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted that your have pain in the left testicle like kicked in, goes away after sex with your wife.
The cause is obviously the engorgement of the epididymis and may be congestion of the testis which gets relieved after sex due to ejaculation and you get relief.
You may please get ultrasound when you are in pain and after sex to compare
