Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been having some pain/discomfort in the testicles. It is not continuous, mostly while sitting but have some pain while walking. I do not remember when but I have felt this before. I have been wearing a catheter for about two weeks and have another two weeks before I see an urologist. Should I be concerned or wait until my appointment with the urologist? Thanks Larry
Catheter very often causes urinary tract infection. Testicle pain is most likely due to such infection. Bacteria are the factor of it. You may have also some burning during or after urinating. Antibiotic treatment is necessary. And it should not wait two weeks.
Regards.
