What Causes The Inability To Lose Weight Despite Diet And Exercise?

Hi, I had a tummy tuck operation in 1994 and in 2002 I had a baby where I gain 20 kilos. Ever since I have been training and eating healthy, but I cannot lose weight. I still weigh 78 kilos, I am 1m52cm tall and 45 years old. When I train, I do cardio training intervals where I get my heart rate up to 170 and back down to 135 every 2 minutes, I do weight training also. I so this 4/5 a week, but there is no change. I even had a personal trainer for 6 months and I lost on 2 kilos. I tummy is still very flabby and loose. What can I do, should I have another tummy tuck operation, will I be able to get my flabby tummy tightened up. Why can I not lose weight. My doctor has checked my hormone level and everything is looking good. I even drink +2 liters of water a day.

Hello! Thank you for writing! I congratulate you for the good will. Keep going like this, don't give up. I think that the reason why you can't lose weight is the way you eat. PORTION and WHAT you eat is very important. You should take less calories than you burn in order to lose weight.
I will recommend you an excample of portions you need ti consume. Try to consume a lot of proteins the best choice is, egg, chicken, especially chicken, fish and cottage cheese.
Breakfast one egg, 4 tablespoon of cottage cheese, one bread 30 gram, one tablespoon of olive oil
Between meals 6 almonds and one small fruit/ or one slice of bread 30 gram and one tablespoon of honey.11:00 am and 17:30 pm
Lunch: 200 gram chicken breast, 2cups of salad, one slice of bread 30 gram, one fruit
Dinner: 1 cup of yogurt 2% fat, one slice of brown bread 30 gram, 4 tablespoon of oat cereals, 2 fruits.
Drink plenty of water. Keep exercising 3-5 times per week. If you have any other question you are welcome.I want to emphasize that this is only an excample of eating healthy in order to get all the nutrients you need in order to lose weight. Are you suffering from any disease especially from kidney disease? If yes I recommend you that you must see a nutritionist to help you with your goal.. Its only an excample if you need further personalised diet you should visit a nutritionist. Stay focused on your goal and have faith.
Thank you. Best regards.
