What Causes The Reddish Penis Foreskin In A Child?

I have an 8 year old boy - un circumsized.... his penis foeskin is red.... does not burn when he urinates.... I put him in the bath this morning and we pulled the skin back to clean it -- put polisporin on it... does not seem to bother him... could this be infection ...

Hi,

By what you say it could be a small inflammation of the tip of the penis or balanoposthitis. If it is not bothering him in any way I do not think you need to apply any medication to it.
