What Causes The Urge To Urinate?

I am 15 years old, and i am currently on my period, but i m on my last day. For the past two hours, and for about four hours yesterday, i have been getting the urge to urinate, but when i go, i trickle just a litle bit of pee and then i get an odd feeling on my vagina. it doesnt hurt, it feels more like i need to push something out! I am afraid its a bladder infection, because when i was in the 4th grade, i had two of them. any thoughts as to why this is happening?

Hello,

* The urge to urinate with a trickle of pee indicate urinary tract infection with or without the involvement of urinary bladder.
* Primary guidelines at present to cure at earliest
- avoid vaginal sex if active
- genital hygiene at its best
- plenty of liquids and hydration care
- cranberry juice daily
- chewable vitamin c supplements
- consult your GP for an antibiotic prescription
- analgesic as ibuprofen after meals if no history of drug sensitivity.
