What Causes This Sensation?

Hi, I am on mirtazipine for anxiety and depression. I am also on night shift at work. A few hours ago and a few times before that, I feel my brain. As I am typing this I feel a weird sensation in my brain like i have an itch in my head. Is this from my medicine?

Thanks for any help,
Justin

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

Mirtazapine is sedative antidepressant and some patients feel drowsiness from this medication. May be due to sedative effect, you are getting, weird sensation and itching effect in head. Better to consult your psychiatrist about the side effect and in case, such side effects persist, you can try another medicine.

Thanks
