General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

Your symptoms seem to be related to a stomach issue.
Chronic reflux of stomach acids into your esophagus can irritate your throat.
In severe cases, it can cause dysphagia.
I suggest to continue the antacid.
I also suggest using a PPI treatment to lower the acidity in the stomach such as Prilosec in the morning before breakfast.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
