Hello,

As mentioned in history about throbbing pain in veins, I will ask you to check out a few things - your blood pressure, blood glucose levels and also Doppler scan.

In DVT, the throbbing pain is common but one should check for skin discoloration and also have the use of Doppler scan to rule out the symptoms. Once done you will get a clear picture of the same.

Even patients with high blood glucose levels may also complain about similar symptoms but it may not be related to DVT but neuropathy.

Having a proper clinical examination and assessment should help us know what is the diagnosis and what measures can be taken.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
