What Causes Thyroid Problems?

I am a 35 yr. old female, approx 195lbs always cold, EXTREMELY tired all the time even with 8-9 hours of sleep a night i never feel rested. I had an ultrasound of my thyroid done and they said everything was normal. Could i still have a problem with it?

Hello,
Good day.
You could still have a normal looking thyroid in ultrasound , but the blood works may show thyroid issues. It may be better to get the thyroid blood works done as well.
Problems with sleep may be unrelated to thyroid and it is better to check if you have sleep apnea. If you snore at sleep, you could be having sleep apnea. Better to consult your GP who can arrange for thyroid blood works + blood glucose tests and arrange for sleep studies

Binu
