What Causes Tight Sensation On The Right Side Of The Body?

I have some discomfort on the right side of my body -- abdomen, right ovary- that area and can feel it down the right side of the body. Feels like a tightness on the right side when I lean over and a bit down to the top of my leg. I was at the GP last week and it isn't constant...went away and came back...she suggested a sonogram or maybe crt...curious as to possibilities, although certain there are many. thanks

Hi,

Tight sensation of abdomen may be due to right renal caliculi or hepatitis or colon distension or colitis or cystitis or ovarian cyst, etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please get it done ultrasound abdomen, urine examination, blood urea, serum creatinine then consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
