What Causes Tightness On The Right Side Of The Face?

My daughter has jaw popping, facial tightness on right side of face/jaw. It s not painful. Causes her to have trouble eating as she has trouble opening/closing mouth. Took her to dentist and was told to take ibu and not sleep on that side of face, etc. Could this be Bells Palsy?

Neurologist 's  Response
There seems to be a problem in temporo-mandibular joint (TMJ). This issue can be discussed with the dentist. If that is ruled out, it could be dystonia affecting jaw muscles. This can be treated in consultation with a neurologist.
