What Causes Tightness Under The Breasts?

I have had M. S. For over 20 yrs. at different times I have a tight tight band just under my breasts around my torso. I have been told it is a ms hug? Now, it is so tight it is hurting my breathing. Went to new neurologist today who wants to do MRI of spine to see if lesions are causing this? Could at be the case?

Possibility of spinal involvement may be the cause of such tight band feeling. MRI of thoracic spine region should be done.
