Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My left arm is tingling and numb with what feels like a mild electrical current right down to my finger tips as well as a constant ache and small hard lump in my upper back, witch I think may be a knot pressing against a nerve?? also I get a lot of head rushes, now for prolonged periods, like dizzy, gaunt etc, I can stand for 5 minutes before my legs give out, I'm 44 fit for my age, male, and lately my diet is not so good in the veges dept.
Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement, Dr. Saurabh Gupta's Response
Hello, Thanks for your query. The possibilities could be 1. Nerve root pinching at the cervical cord level (at the level of neck) 2. Nerve compression at wrist, called as carpal tunnel syndrome Some times, people can have a combination too. I will suggest you to get examined by a local neurologist and then a Nerve conduction test (test which will determine the site of nerve block. I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care
