What Causes Tingling On Top Right Side Of Head?

i havean ongoing tingling on top righthand side of my head with sharp throb in area behind right eye that is persistant and comes and goes every few minutes- it has been like this for two days and has seriously affected my sleep, painkillers don't seem to work - not sure whethe rit is related to possible ' braindisorder or not - I have no history in that field - I am just recovering from a severe cold
