What Causes Tingling Sensation In Knee After Knee Replacement Surgery?
I have had two knee replacements on the left knee. First surgeon did not align it properly. Second one did a great job. I have had no problems until now. I have a tingling sensation in my left foot to a complete no feeling. My left toe feels like it is out place and hurts. My left knee also has constant pain and occasionally a sharp pain.
Based on the history you have shared, you need to get it reviewed by a neurosurgeon as to rule out any nerve compression at operation site or any reversible damage. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen along with Gabapentin can be helpful for symptomatic relief.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
