What Causes Tingling Sensation In The Chin?

I have had for the past few days a tingling sensation that comes and goes on my chin. I am 34 years old today and do not have any other medical problems. I tried doing research about it online but came up with nothing. Could it be a nerve that is pinched or something else more serious? Thanks!

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are not suggestive of any serious medical disorder. It could be a pinched nerve, but as it comes and goes, there is no reason to panic. Consulting with your physician for a physical exam would be needed if the tingling persists.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
