What Causes Tingling/tickling Sensation In Ureter/bladder?

Hi, I have had a tingling/tickling sensation in my ureter/bladder for about a week, makes me feel like I have to go to the bathroom more often. I went to my ob/gyn last week and tested negative for a UTI. Should I be tested for anything else? The NP seemed to think it would just go away, but it hasn't yet.
