What Causes Tinnitus And Extreme Dizziness While Lying Down?

I have ringing in my ears. I get extremely dizzy if I lay on my back and tilt my head backwards, more so on the right side. For example, if I try to lay down to look under a car, I get so dizzy that i feel that I am going to get a heart attack, so I am literaly scared to try and do any work on my care. Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Tinnitus and dizziness is caused by BPPV or,acute vestibular neurinitis or acute labyrinthitis or eustachian tube block or cardiac or brain problems etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Avoid cool drinks and freeze water, Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days.
Use tablet Meclizine twice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
