What Causes Tiny Red Bumps On Body Of A 19 Month Baby?

My 19 month old son has been having tiny red bumps appearing all over his body for the last two weeks. Most of the bumps are still there, but some have gotten big and puss filled. Now they a dark and hard patch on the skin. The doctor gave me Septra to treat this, but the bumps keep appearing, now on his face, hands, and his legs look terrible. What could this be?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

Looks like a pyoderma or impetigo. Your son will need a higher antibiotic like Cephalexin or Amoxyclav. Kindly see your pediatrician.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.
