What Causes Tiredness And Blurred Eyes While On Gabapentin And Vistaril?

I am taking gabapentin and vistoril prescribed for anxiety and rls. I am also a recovering alcoholic. Wondering if many of my symptoms of tired - blurry eyes...etc are being caused from taking both of these medications. I take 600 units per day of Gabapentin a day and Vistoril is as needed but I take that about 2 times a day. So ....what do you think? Thank you very much ~ Robin Richardson

Hello,

If this is the anxiety then try to come out of this else you will have to continue taking the medicine that you are taking. Such medicines could be the cause of drowsiness, it is the side effect of medicines. You can tapper the dose of medicine to minimize the side effects or you can even talk to doctor, better to go for counseling.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
