What Causes Tiredness, Depression And Palpitations?

Dr Im 41 Female. Im having hypothyroid since last 5 years and Im taking Thyronorm 50 mg everyday. Now a days I feel so tired, so depressed, so short tempered and the palpitation is more. I dont know whether it is because of thyroid. What should I do for this

These symptoms can be due to overtreatment of hypothyroidism.It can lead to palpitations and excess tiredness.Depression in your case has to be specially addressed.Short term treatment with antidepressants like Escitalopram helps.reducing the dose of Thyronorm is enough to correct your symptoms.Consider a full thyroid profile test and a screening 2D ECHO.Consult your cardiologist and endocrinologist for further queries.
